Sticking to a consistent maintenance schedule for your mini-excavator can go a long way to reducing your running and repair costs.
From a basic service to a major service both play an important role to keep your machinery working hard for you. Both can pick up small faults from coolant leaks, hydraulic oil leaks, hydraulic faults, engine faults before they become more expensive issues with increased downtime.

Regular greasing of you work equipment greasing points will extend the life of your excavators moving components. With various types of grease available be sure to use the correct type of grease, not all greases are created equal and there will be specific grease required for the application.

The engine of a mini-excavator is a critical part of keeping it working to its full potential. The engine needs good quality engine oil, good quality filters to safeguard it has a long working life.

Even though hydraulic systems and components are a lot smaller than larger diggers their no less important thus still need high quality oil and filtration systems to provide the break-out power to operate under the harsh conditions of digging trenches, rock-breaking, back filling etc. that you require it to do day in day out.If oil can get out, dirt can get in. Getting those oil leaks fixed not only stops the ingress of dirt the number one killer of hydraulics systems but will keep the cost of topping up the oil to a minimum. Sticking to the manufacturers servicing schedule will help keep any hydraulic issues to a minimum.
